Is my dress too slutty? Should I be consirned?

Question by : Is my dress too slutty? Should I be consirned?
So my homecoming is next saturday, and I’m a junior in high school. For the past homecoming, I always walk into the dance in some kind of little princess dress, and I find that I don’t feel beautiful. I find that everyone else is showing their best qualites, and I need to dress a bit mature. So, I bought this dress, and I LOVE the color. Everyone thinks it will looks beautiful with my fair skin and dark brown hair. But, there’s a bit of a problem. I tried it on at home, my brother thought I looked amazing, and actually gave me a hug because he said I looked beautiful. my sister says my but looks like kim kardashians (go fiqure) my dad thought I looked pretty…but my mom thought I looked like I slut. It’s way out of what people would expect from me, which is exactly why I bought it. To show the guys for one night, “Look what I look like, and I’m not a whore. Your loss for counting me out.” But I’m worried. Is this dress slutty? Input to class it up a bit? Also, there are no leggins under the dress, the modle is wearing them, but I’m not.

http://www.mandee.com/product/1026/MD-M03001032508600/273/

Thanks everyone! Was getting worried for a second. I plan to do very minimal makeup, and get my hair curled, since I have very long brown hair. And I will admit, it’s as tight on me as it is on the modle, but I have a bit more curves. And other advice would be great:)

Would you read this story?

Question by may ray<3: Would you read this story?
Prologue

“What do you want from me?” I ask Santiago as he comes at me.

“I’m going to kill you,” he tells me quickly. “For murdering my sister.”

“Well, you have every right to try, but I must warn you that I fully in-tend to see a century.”

Santiago huffs forebodingly. “If I have anything to do with it, you won’t even see a decade. But tell me—before I rip your throat out—tell me what being a vampire is really like. I might just re-consider slaying you.”

He glares at me grimly, and I know that even if I told him the most harrowing story, his mind would not waver.

Chapter One
I stood outside the little boutique, contemplating whether or not it was in my best interest to enter. I sighed and decided to go in. The bell clanged my arrival as I pushed open the door. Conveniently, there was no one there.

I smiled at the cashier, whose face fell at my entrance, but I paid no attention to her. If I was in the killing mood, she would be the first to go. Anyone who looked at me like that would have to go. But as it just so happened, I woke up this morning without the intent to kill.

It was lucky for the people in this shop, however, unlucky for any of the people that I come across in the passing days. If I didn’t take a life to-day, I would take two tomorrow. It’s like a drug habit; you always need more the next time to get any sort of thrill.

“Can I help you?” The woman at the counter asked. She eyed me suspiciously, and I guess I could understand.

My hair still had sticks and dead leaves in it (the product of sleeping outdoors for five days straight without washing), and my clothes were all ripped apart, and I looked more rugged than I really was.

Being newly reformed (I think that might be the only way of refe-rencing it that makes any sense), I wanted to get a feel for how my new body worked by trying it in various situations before settling down in any one specific place.

I wish that I could say that my story is one of great loss and hatred and acts of vengeance, but sadly, it is not. I was not stolen from my bed one stormy night or forced to watch my family be murdered.

No, nothing as horrible as that. I simply did not want to go on living like I was.

“I was just looking.” I told her. As I walked away, I could feel her eyes piercing my back. It took all my strength to not turn around and rip her head off.

I found the bathroom with ease, sauntered in and begin doing very human rituals. I shook the dirt from my hair and flattened it with the palms of my hand. Gristle and grime didn’t stick to my face like they did during my human years. I rubbed my face, and what little reminder of last night’s hunt vanished down the drain. I guess if you were careful, there was no real need for clean up.

The fangs throbbed a bit but only because they were still fresh. Santiago said that it would go away after a few months, though. They didn’t create suspicion because I can hide them so well. They’re not retractable or anything, not like in the movies and books. And I’ve read a lot of books and seen a lot of movies about vampires.

would you read this? It is just for jollies, and I do not intened to persue it any further!!! I will leave the vampires and werewolves and other mythical creatures for someone else.

Question by : If people in Ireland were more positive, in they’re thinking would our Economy and Tourism Improve?
I know that people that are more positive do better in Life. People that groin all the time and say things like “There are no jobs” Our country is going to the dogs” “I have no money”, “Irish people are getting more nasty”, “Hope is gone and things are so dark” “Did you hear what was on the news today it was awful” seem to be digging a hole for themselves. The only digging holes I like is that Christy Moore song.

My question is simple: Are a lot of Ireland’s current problems worsen, by our negative thinking?

There are actually more jobs than 2008. I know this because I was looking for a job back then. There is more of a volume now. What there is also more of are “Job losses” Jobs are being lost left right and Centre. But there are technically more jobs being advertised. (And I am not on about multiple job advertising) The job losses are being classified in with the less job argument.

Secondly of course our country is going to the dogs if we think that way. At least we are not at war, or famine. At least we are living in a country where we are surrounded by family and friends. Of course Ireland has many problems, social, economic and otherwise. But problems are like algebra. Some are more complicated than others. But any Algebraic question can eventually be solved. It depends entirely on the person tackling the problem. (Of course in real life there are variances to factor in).

People say they have no money. Well this is the case. But people who have no debt (but a little money) are in a great position. They are in a great position because at least they are breaking even. An even is always better than a negative. (People in Debt can still manage things, if the government published just one good cost saving book for Irish citizens on day-to-day living)

I have been living of around 200 euros a week the last three years. (I was in college or working to save for college before that) There are tips to living well with a limited income. You want a fancy outfit. Go to the boutique clothes rack. This can knock off to 80% off the original price. You like fancy food. Go to Dunnes on a Sunday and check out the reduced fridge rack. You get expense food at a fraction of the Price. And as for Euro2, you could save loads in that shop from Nair hair removal cream, chocolate, cleaning products to notebooks.

The whole Irish people getting nasty are also something I hear a lot on the Internet. Did you ever hear the phrase look at a mans friend and you know what he is like.

If you friends are a nasty people of work, just get new friends. You would be amazed how people affect your mood and personality without even noticing. If someone you don’t know is nasty to you simply smile and walk away. I find Irish people are more Helpful of late not nastier. Even things like passing on jobs on newspapers to friends to visiting a friend that just lost their job.

In relation to Hope being gone. Hope is never gone. Define “The feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best”
Hope is a state of mind. A state of mind can never be gone forever. It can always return if you want it enough. And lastly the phrase “Did you hear the horrible thing in the news? Yes there are horrible things in the news. There are also lots of great things.

I look forward to any answers to this question, thanks and yes I have never anything better to do. The depressing news is on at the moment. :)

B.Q: I have an exam in December. (Accounting Theory) My use of commas is not the best. If you are bored point out a few of my grammar mistakes. Thanks Of course pointing out such mistales will Help Tourim in Ireland. (The butterfly effect)
I see a few already.
That is a great answer below Doc. If you got paid a Euro for everything you wrote on this site you would be rich. Your standard of written English s is also superb.
Did you consider registering on Booking.com? They have a few guesthouses and Bnb’s on their site. A lady that owned a guesthouse, I was staying in told me they take about 15% of the booking and the rest is hers. (15% is a lot but at least you have a booking and can advertise Room only. Think this way you get to keep any breakfast you sell outside the site. Not sure though.) I know when I am booking a Hotel in Ireland I use this site. Jury’s Inn in Limerick is regularly up on the site at 59euro (no breakfast) for three people. That is less that 20 Euro each for a room. Looks like this s turning out to be a Tourism Question. Lol.
All great answers. I have a few job links. If you look at the end of this question I have a few. Although the question itself, you might not so impressed by. There are good job links on it, none the less.

Things are indeed MUCH better now than they were – I agree. 2008 was not a good year for me, 2011 is turning out to be pretty good in comparison.

Question by Big Al!: Can straightening or too much conditioning cause hair loss?

Okay so I’m 16 years old and I’ve been straightening my hair for about a year now and this past month I’ve noticed that I’m losing a lot of my hair. Especially my bangs, which I straighten most often. But also in this past month I have been using a lot less shampoo when I shower and a TON of conditioner. I don’t know if that has anything to do with it or not either. Can either of those things have to do with my hair loss. And what can I do to help it?

Best answer:

Answer by trees75094
It’s possible. It’s also possible you have a medical condition. I’m not a doctor, but hair loss can be caused by lots of things – stress, thyroid conditions, etc.

I’m no doctor, but want you to see the doctor to make sure it’s nothing medical. Then get to your hairdresser for a new hair style. Maybe it’s time to give your hair a break, while you still have some left.
